Why You Should Apply

It offers a totally free university education in a culturally rich, geographically crucial country bridging Africa and Europe. The AMCI scholarship waives all tuition fees and provides a bi-monthly stipend of 1500 MAD (approx. 750 MAD per month).

Furthermore, AMCI students get heavily subsidized access to university dormitories (Cités Universitaires) and campus restaurants.

Application Process

You CANNOT apply directly to AMCI. You must apply through your home country's Ministry of Education or Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Your government selects a quota of students and forwards the diplomatic files to the Moroccan Embassy.

How to Win This Scholarship

Because it relies on your home government's nomination, you must network aggressively with your local Ministry of Education. The vast majority of undergraduate programs are taught entirely in French. If your high school education was not in French, you will be forced to undergo a rigorous one-year language preparation course in Rabat before starting your degree.

Benefits After Completing Study

Graduating from a Moroccan university provides excellent credentials for entering the Francophone corporate sector across West and Central Africa.

The stipend is extremely small. 750 MAD a month is barely enough to cover basic food, let alone private rent if you fail to secure a spot in the crowded public dormitories. You absolutely must have financial support from your family back home to survive comfortably in cities like Casablanca or Rabat.
