Operated by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), the Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP) is a fully funded master's scholarship aimed strictly at developing nations. It is a tool for Thailand to export its successful development models (like the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy) to other nations struggling with similar agricultural, healthcare, and economic challenges.

Why You Should Apply
Thailand is one of the most vibrant, affordable, and welcoming countries in the world. The TIPP scholarship covers your return economy flights, university tuition fees, a living allowance of 7,000 THB per month, an accommodation allowance of 7,000 THB per month, a settlement allowance, and health insurance. You will study in world-class institutions like Chulalongkorn University or Mahidol University entirely for free.
Application Process
You cannot apply directly to TICA. Like the Malaysian MTCP, this is a government-to-government program. You must be nominated by the National Focal Point for International Cooperation in your home country (usually a ministry or foreign affairs department).
You submit your paperwork to them, and they forward the official nomination to the Royal Thai Embassy.
How to Win This Scholarship
TICA does not fund general business or humanities degrees. They fund five specific themes: Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), Public Health, Agriculture/Food Security, Climate Change, and the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy. Your background must perfectly align with one of these themes.
If you are a civil servant working in public health or agricultural policy in your home country, you are the exact candidate they want to fund.
Benefits After Completing Study
You gain specialized knowledge in sustainable development and build an extensive diplomatic network across the Global South.
Do not bypass your home government. If your application does not have the official stamp of your National Focal Point, the Thai Embassy will instantly discard it, regardless of your academic brilliance.
