About Busitema University
Busitema University, situated in Uganda’s Busia region and formally known as the Uganda Institute of Technology (UIT), has established itself as an institution deeply committed to nurturing excellence in applied sciences and engineering focused on agricultural development and sustainable practices within Africa. Founded in 2007, it initially served as a non-profit educational entity, evolving into a public-private partnership designed to meet the unique needs of Uganda's agriculture sector and broader national ambitions.
