Current TSU comprises 6 main academic departments, including: Agricultural Science, Journalism and Communication, Geography & Paleontology, History and Archaeology, Civil Engineering, and Philosophy and International Studies, each carefully designed with a focus on emerging challenges within the region and beyond. The university has a dedicated Bachelor program of 8 years, a Master's Program of 2 years, and a PhD Program of 4 years. The university’s research effort is centered around sustainable agricultural practices and preserving Uzbekistan's rich historical heritage through archaeological investigation.
